Delete your Spelldoku data
Spelldoku, a puzzle game by Kai Cheng
In short: Spelldoku has no accounts. Uninstalling the game deletes your progress from your phone. To delete what is stored on our servers (your rankings entry and your anonymous gameplay statistics), email us and we will delete it within 30 days.
How to ask
- Email spelldoku@gmail.com with the subject Delete my Spelldoku data.
- Include your wizard name as it appears on the Ranks screen, and roughly when you played (for example, "most evenings in November 2026"). The game has no login, so this is how we find your data.
- We confirm by email once it is deleted, within 30 days.
To delete only your progress on your phone, uninstall the game, or clear its storage in your phone's settings (Android: Settings → Apps → Spelldoku → Storage → Clear storage; iPhone: delete the app).
What is deleted
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Rankings entries: wizard name, companion, rune, sigil, vault and heart counts, daily riddle results, and the random account ID (Google Firebase) | Deleted |
| Anonymous gameplay statistics linked to your random player ID (PostHog) | Deleted |
| Game progress, moondust and settings on your phone | Deleted when you uninstall the game or clear its storage |
What is kept
- Purchases are recorded by Google Play or the Apple App Store, not by us. They keep their own records, and a bought "Remove ads" is restored from your Google Play account or Apple ID if you reinstall.
- Advertising data is held by Google AdMob under Google's privacy policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- Statistics that were already combined into totals with no player ID (for example, "how many players finished Level 10") cannot be traced back to you, so they stay.
Full details are in the privacy policy.
