Spelldoku Privacy Policy

In short: Spelldoku has no accounts and never asks for your name, email or contacts. Your progress is saved on your device. We collect anonymous gameplay statistics to improve the game. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising ID to show and measure ads.
Who we are
Spelldoku is a puzzle game made by Kai Cheng, based in Singapore. For any privacy question or request, email spelldoku@gmail.com.
What is collected, and why

The random player and account IDs are not linked to your name, email or phone number. Pick a wizard name that doesn't identify you if you'd rather stay anonymous on the rankings. We do not sell your data.
Your choices
- Ad consent: players in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and can change their choice later.
- Advertising ID: you can reset or delete it in your phone's settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads). On iPhone, the game asks before allowing tracking, and you can change this any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Deleting your data: uninstalling the game deletes your progress. To have your rankings entries or gameplay statistics deleted, email us with your wizard name and roughly when you played, since we have no other way to tell your data apart.
Children
Spelldoku is meant for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the game and want their data removed, contact us.
Security and retention
Data sent from the game is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Gameplay statistics are kept for up to 2 years and then deleted.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
